Furniture worker sewing compass feet, vintage, Germany, 60s/70s. Elegant line for this sewing furniture from the GDR. It is made of wood bordered by a gilded metal band. The opening is from the top and reveals the plastic arrangement provided for storage. 2 additional, mobile lockers occupy the bottom of the box. Very good condition apart from the golden border which shows some (innocuous) traces of use and which is slightly deformed at one corner (photo 7). Note also that an interior locker is cracked (photo 8). The compass feet can be disassembled and reassembled very easily, allowing for easy shipping.
