The kōtoku-in is a sacred and historic place which houses an impressive representation of Amitābha Buddha. This imposing statue attracts travelers and tourists from all over the world with its size and spiritual aura. Having been deeply marked by this Japanese icon during my first travels, I decided to create a unique linocut in his image. Every minute detail of this work of art has been carefully crafted to capture the essence and beauty of the original statue. In order to preserve its exclusive character, the number of prints of this linocut is limited to 100 copies. Each print is signed and numbered, guaranteeing its authenticity.
