Scandinavian chair by Folke Pålsson, Denmark, 1966

This chair dates from 1966 created by folke pålsson, a finnish designer who worked at the furniture design studio fdb (fællesforeningen for danmarks brugsforeninger) in the 1960s. His j77 chair is a design classic recognizable throughout scandinavia for its design light, comfortable and well balanced. If it is still currently published by hay, this is an ordinary edition, dated and stamped danish furniture. We have deliberately left it in its original state, betting on the charm of the authentic: if it presents no structural defect - stable, solid, clean -, it nevertheless presents traces of wear and shock to basque red paint (see numerous photos ), testifying that at the time this design was indeed designed for active mass consumption, and that its well-thought-out design made it an icon of the 20th century.
