Floor lamp by Barbieri & Marianelli for Tronconi - Italy

Italian modernist work by architects Raul Barbieri and Giorgio Marianelli. Troller model. 1975 edition for Tronconi. The structure is in chromed metal, the external envelope of the reflector is also in metal (perforated black sheet). The very stable foot is in cast iron. Light wear, dimmer button missing, functional condition. Barbieri and Marianelli came from the Politecnico of Milan and opened their architecture studio in the mid-70s. This piece is one of their first creations. It was presented and awarded at the 1978 International Lighting Show. Article available in Poitiers (86)
