Square wall mirror designed by Aksel Kjersgaard for Odder in the 1970s. An example of Scandinavian design distinguished by balanced proportions, clean lines and particular attention to woodworking. The teak frame features a sculpted profile, with sides gently curving inwards to give the mirrored surface a subtly curvilinear shape. The corners are defined by mitred joints, while the thickness of the frame and the carefully shaped edges create a delicate interplay of depth and shadow. The warm tones of the teak and its natural grain enhance the geometry of the frame, introducing an organic element into the otherwise restrained design. A piece with a subtle yet distinctive presence, reflecting the tradition of twentieth-century Danish cabinetmaking. Condition: Excellent overall condition. Dimensions: Width 58 cm – Depth 2.5 cm – Height 58 cm Ref.: C0931
