Set of 3 Atelier du Vieux Moulin mugs with grid decoration

The Vieux Moulin workshop was rebuilt after the war in Vallauris; it is located above the current museum and had a wood-fired oven. This gave the ceramics a particular sensitivity and infinite nuances depending on the place in the oven. These three mugs have a magnificent decoration thanks, precisely, to this sensitivity of wood firing. The oblique handle humorously contrasts with the well-ordered grids.
