Dining table designed by the duo Martine and Jacki Perrin, glass artists working under the name Perrin & Perrin. Created around 1990, this piece is distinguished by a stainless steel base with a circular base and conical stem, supporting a large, circular, hand-blown glass top in a deep blue hue. Three discreet metal arms hold the glass slab, whose reflections and textures reveal the mastery of Perrin & Perrin in the manipulation of light and transparency. This artistic couple, renowned for their works combining sculpture and design, have been exploring the fusion of glass, metal, and light since the 1980s, blurring the lines between art and furniture. The signature is engraved on the side of the tabletop. France, circa 1990.
