Maison Lecan presents this modernist zoomorphic ceramic from the mid-20th century, depicting a stylised fish with dynamic lines and pronounced relief. Typical of the production from Vallauris (with the embossed mark "VALLAURIS" clearly visible on the reverse in the recess), this piece is appealing due to its glazing work: a lustrous black background contrasted by white frothy effects, deep emerald green drips, and bright red highlights on the eye and fin.

Versatile, it serves as a catch-all, large ashtray, or decorative presentation dish.

In terms of condition, the piece retains all its brilliance and structural integrity, but shows several small chips and wear-related enamel losses on the edges and borders (notably on the rim near the head, the tip of the tail, the central separation, and the dorsal edge, which are clearly visible in close-ups).

Dimensions: L35 X P15 X H4.5 cm

Ref LDP: 20260811-003
.
