Towards the end of world war ii, a french inventor named joseph borel filed patents in france and the united states for designs for the production of a portable typewriter, deliberately designed to be the smallest and lightest machine of its kind on the market. This is how the 1st model of portable typewriter named rooy went into production in 1950 and was produced for about a decade. Equipped with an azerty keyboard, it is made of green steel, borel has strived to keep the entire machine and its speaker as an inseparable entity since it is kept fixed on its lid by slipping on rails to put it into service, so it is extra flat, portable and easy to store. This machine is still functional, the ribbon is a little tired and the key to move back a notch does not work, but we can move the trolley back by the small side slider, so it's not really annoying, and the handle is broken, it's still a machine that is almost 70 years old, so it's normal that it has wear marks, it is one of the rare models to collect. Weight 4 kg. Height 4, 5cm. Width 30cm. Length 31cm.
