Vintage Italian Cascio Sciacca glazed ceramic bird subject

Rare and unique. Charming little subject in handcrafted ceramic/glazed terracotta, Italian made, hand painted, signed Cascio Sciacca. Vintage 70s-80s. Tin-glazed red earth, slightly translucent, white, hand painted with geometric patterns, blue-green and purplish-brown edging and dots. Stylized pear shape, cute little head. Approximately 13cm long, approximately 10cm wide max for 12cm high max at the head. Very good condition, small varnish touch-up on the tip of the beak, extremely discreet. Approximately 350gr.
