Bust of jeanne becu, favorite of louis XV under the name of countess du barry. The latter had her bust made by auguste pajou in 1772 who exhibited it at the salon in 1773 and which aroused great interest. This ancient wax bust was made in the 19th century. Total height 33cm, without base 27cm, width 23cm, depth 12cm. Neat shipping.
