Antique compote dish Longchamp Terre de Fer model Daisies polychrome

Superb antique compote in Ironstone from the Longchamp pottery, "Daisies" model, polychrome, very rare, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic Art Nouveau decor, bucolic, featuring daisies, foliage, grasses, and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately enhanced by hand with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow, and brown. The slightly scalloped rim and simple foot highlight the elegance of the interior and exterior decor.
