Barbizon School 19th century - Oil on panel - Washerwoman mill landscape - 1870

Very beautiful painting from the french realist school of the 19th century, signed lower left bruno, unreferenced painter. Depicting a landscape animated by a washerwoman near a brook wheel mill. On the edge of a wood, the rest of the painting is occupied by vegetation and trees. In a gilded wood and stucco frame, barbizon type, this composition is very well done, the technique is beautiful and the details are beautifully crafted. Very beautiful luminosity in the course of the stream, presenting a very beautiful vanishing line. This composition, well typified by this period of the second half of the 19th century, period 1860/1870, comes from this great school that is the barbizon school.
