Large Beni Ouarain rug, 290 x 215 cm - G1034

A refined large Beni Ouarain rug where natural wool, texture, and subtle geometry come together in an exceptionally understated design. Woven almost entirely in warm ivory tones, the pattern is created by changes in pile height and weaving technique rather than contrasting colours, revealing a delicate composition of diamonds, abstract geometric shapes, and irregular linear patterns. From a distance, the rug appears serene and almost monochromatic. Up close, its sculptural texture reveals remarkable depth and craftsmanship — a beautiful example of how contemporary design can emerge from traditional Amazigh weaving techniques. Each rug is handwoven by Amazigh (Berber) artisans in our own Moroccan cooperative, made from 100% natural sheep wool, woven on a traditional Berber loom, individually knotted, and entirely finished by hand. Created using different pile heights to give dimension and relief to the pattern. Completely unique, with subtle variations characteristic of authentic handmade weaving. No mass production — only authentic Berber craftsmanship. A sophisticated tonal palette based on the natural shades of wool: warm natural ivory, cream, soft ecru, and subtle beige undertones. Ideal for minimalist interiors, organic modern homes, Scandinavian spaces, Japandi interiors, contemporary Mediterranean homes, wabi-sabi inspired spaces, neutral and warm interiors, and modern rustic homes.
