“Child” desk and chair – brutalist art

Lovers of brutalist art, will you be able to resist this set for children: desk and chair. We love everything: the bean shape of the top and the seat, the tripod legs, the beautiful patina of the wood and especially this magnificent ermine hollow-carved on the back of the chair! Practical: the chair slides under the desk and fits it perfectly. A great gift idea, right. The wood has been cleaned, treated, sanded then patinated/varnished. The set was handcrafted in the 1950s in brittany. Desk: 53 X 40 X h56 cm – 6 kg chair: 35 X 26 X h66.5 cm (seat: h39.5 cm) – 3 kg.
