Pair of candle holders torches gilded bronze Louis XV rocaille

Pretty pair of candlestick torch holders. Louis XV style but work napoleon III era, second half of the nineteenth century. Torches in gilded bronze richly chiseled with rockeries and floral decoration, in the taste of juste-aurèle meissonnier & sébastien antoine slodtz. Old cast iron of excellent workmanship, assembly in four distinct parts with screw steps in my mass. Carving of very good quality, with superbly matted backgrounds, a beautiful original gilding in mats and brunis, old gold style. All coins are minted by the master foundry "rrr" or "ttt" .
