Old Duck-Shaped Box in Handcrafted Brass Made in India

This is an old brass box representing a duck. The duck is heavy and can be used to store small objects on a desk or as decoration on a piece of furniture. The color of the duck is golden brown, slightly glittery. The decor represents the flight of a pair of ducks over a pond. This representation appears on both sides of the box. The box was made entirely by hand in india. We find the inscription 'made in india' below. It is a unique item of craftsmanship. There is a meaning to closing the box. This figurine is in good general condition. Note scratches and traces of oxidation inside the box. Dimensions: length: 17.5 cm, height: 13.5 cm, depth: 9 cm. Weight: 910g.
