Mid-Century Modern Swedish "Jigsaw" Vintage Abstract Oil Painting in Red, Framed

Jigsaw. Size: 32 X 76.5 cm (including frame) Oil on canvas. A fun and playful abstract composition, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1959. The artist has arranged an array of geometric shapes in different colours and sizes onto the canvas, fitting them together seamlessly like a jigsaw puzzle. The painting is very well balanced, with three dominating colours of red, yellow and grey being evenly spread out across this long and narrow work of art. This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary slim white frame. There is some paint transfer to the canvas (small areas of white paint), as shown, but the painting is in very good vintage condition overall. There is very slight aging to the frame, but nothing that detracts.
