Side chair by Tijsseling for Hulmefa, Dutch design, 1960's

This cowhorn side chair from the propos series was designed in the 1960’s by the family-owned tijsseling company in nijkerk in collaboration with hulmefa in nieuwe pekela in groningen both in the netherlands. We also have a desk from the same propos series for sale. This chair complements the desk very nicely. The design of this chair is stylish, comfortable and sturdy. The light grey re-upholstery on the backrest could have been a bit tighter but the fabric used by the previous owner is definitely of a good quality. The solid teak frame is in very good condition.
