Brass umbrella stand circa 1950

Belgian métacap umbrella stand/cane holder in hammered brass in the original shape of an umbrella, 1950s. Very beautifully made. Black interior. Brand hallmarks under the umbrella stand. Initially intended for umbrellas or walking sticks, it can also be used as a wastebasket or other. Some discreet traces of oxidation (darker patina in certain places, such as the handle) which can be removed using suitable products, if you wish. Natural wear of a 70 year old everyday object!
