Furniture of the boulle school. Napoleon III era. Furniture at support height, in blackened pear tree, inlaid red tortoiseshells and inlaid brass nets. Bronze details on the outside. The top is made of removable white marble, with contours following the curved lines of the furniture. It opens on the façade with a pronouncedly curved leaf decorated with a medallion underlined by a brass rod finely chiseled with garlands of leaves... Lockable. Similar marquetry adorns the corners of this door, also decorated with bronze, one of them forming the entrance to a lock in working order. This piece of furniture is supplied with its original key. There are many other ornaments on the whole of this furniture. Thus busts of women, bronze falls, brass nets embellish its rounded uprights, its curved sides and its high and low crosspieces. Mahogany interior consists of two shelves of the same wood, with chantourné and blackened façade edges on a total storage height of 87 cm. The back is made of oak. Dimensions width: 116 cm. Height: 107 cm. Marble height: 2 cm. Depth: 41 cm. Shelf depth: 28.5 cm. Furniture requiring restoration to regain all its luster of yesteryear. A few brass nails and chopsticks will be provided to facilitate restoration.
