Old fine linen curtain, monogram "GH" (230x320)

Beautiful and large antique trousseau sheet made of fine linen, probably from the late 19th to early 20th century. Approximate dimensions: 230 × 320 cm. The discovery is adorned with two rows of drawn thread work, which extend into side returns: a first, fine one, worked in contrary bundle drawn thread, and a second, much wider and more decorative, composed of worked drawn thread with wheel and floral rosette patterns. In the centre, there is a significant monogram with two initials, probably "G.H.", embroidered in white with a strong relief using a chain stitch, enriched with large scrolls and a foliage decoration. Very beautiful trousseau work. No stains or tears to report. Very good condition. Washed and disinfected with a product meeting EN 1276 and EN 14476 standards, then ironed and folded.
