Jacob & Josef Kohn antique armchair, Vienna, circa 1900

This antique bentwood armchair was made by Jacob & Josef Kohn in Vienna around 1900. Crafted from beech wood, it showcases the refined craftsmanship and elegant curved lines typical of Austrian Art Nouveau design (Jugendstil). The seat and backrest are adorned with beautiful pressed wood decorations, featuring detailed floral and ornamental patterns, a hallmark of Kohn's bentwood furniture. The chair is in very good vintage condition, with a lovely patina that highlights its age and authenticity.
