Bedside at the beginning of the 20th century in marble and brass

A back-to-the-date bedside of the early 20th century in marble and brass, inspired by Art Deco with its clean lines and enhanced by the contrast of materials. A piece of furniture that can also be used as a harness to display decorative objects. This bedside has been completely cleaned; brass and marble have since been maintained with beeswax, providing a velvety appearance that is warmer and warmer to the stone under the light and limiting the oxidation of the alloy. Note the sparkle on an angle of the marble top tray. A few chippings of the stone, little visible - or almost invisible - at the meeting between the marble and the brass angles (see photos), traces and scratches of use, slight cracking at the door (see photo), not altering the aesthetics of the furniture. Traces of time at the bearing trays of the underside (see photos), therefore not seeing themselves and do not prevent their function. The door's rotation and closing mechanisms work perfectly. The structure is solid, with a leg having to be slightly shorter because the furniture tilts slightly when pressed, which does not hinder its stability. A piece of furniture originally mounted on wheels: by removing the feet, we find the cut-out threaded stems.
