Space Age ceiling light, 1980-90

Vintage four-sphere ceiling light, typical of late 20th-century Space Age design. This sculptural and functional piece, made of white lacquered metal and white plastic, can be used as a ceiling light or a vertical wall sconce, depending on the desired effect. The arched structure is made of white lacquered metal and mounted on a wide circular mounting plate. It supports four spherical reflectors in two sizes: Two 14 cm spheres. Two 11 cm spheres. The two central spheres are fixed, while the two outer spheres are adjustable: One is fixed by a side screw, The other by an internal friction system (no visible screws). The reflectors have a white plastic interior, slightly yellowed with age, and original heat-resistant plastic sockets (E14 base). The exterior, in white lacquered metal, retains a beautiful period shine and a uniform finish. No visible marks, but a design in the spirit of French and Belgian productions from the late 80s to 90s, inspired by Italian creations by Reggiani or Guzzini. In very good overall condition.
