Danish hanging lamp called 'fibonacci' designed by sophus frandsen in 1963. This lamp was manufactured at the time by fog & mørup and was one of the most expensive lamps sold by the company. It received a gold medal (leipzig messe, 1967) and the if product design award (1968). The rings in different sizes give the lamp a playful and timeless look. The diffuser at the bottom, which is missing in many cases, is still present here. This prevents glare and provides a nice diffused light. The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with some light signs of use. The original manufacturer's sticker is also still present. Sophus frandsen graduated from the royal danish academy of fine arts in 1953. For more than half a century he conducted research into the nature of light and its practical application and taught this at the same academy. Sophus frandsen died in 2013.
