3 drawer desk

Small desk with 3 drawers, turned legs, in solid wood, from the 1950s. It has been sanded, treated to prevent xylophages from which it shows the mark of old attacks, then revamped in a boho style: painting the base in a off-white color, wash on the top and drawers to lighten the tone of the wood, stencil decoration, creation of a small jute pompom on the key and finally application of a matte varnish in 3 layers for good protection of the top.the middle drawer locks. It is in good general condition and perfectly fit to be used, but shows some marks of time: traces of old attacks by xylophages, slightly deformed top which has retained a small slot in the middle, the turn of a foot has been broken by the past and there are some traces of old shocks (see photos). I didn't want to fill in these marks and give it a new look: it's part of its history...
