Set of 4 antique slip plates – scenes and foliage

Charming set of 4 polychrome slip plates, decorated in relief with two scenes representing a full-length soldier with the words "glory - honor - liberty - fatherland", and two models with foliage and bunches of grapes in bright shades of green, turquoise, brown and purple. The plates offer a beautiful richness of colors and a relief typical of slip productions of the late 19th century or very early 20th century. Unsigned on the back, they nevertheless present an old patina and a decorative style inspired by french manufacturers such as sarreguemines, onnaing or saint-clément. Dimensions: diameter 21 cm estimated period: circa 1880-1910 condition: very good general condition with slight cracking of the glaze, without chips.
