Set of 4 vintage 1970s bistro bar stools Design München

Rare set of four bistro-style bar stools from the 1970s, signed **Design München** — the brand is moulded under the base in cast aluminium, a guarantee of authenticity and serious German industrial quality. Each stool is appealing due to the generosity of its materials and the elegance of its silhouette: a **circular seat with a diameter of 40 cm**, richly padded and dressed in bright **red faux leather**, highlighted by a chrome-plated rim that gives it a defined shape. The conical column in **honey-stained solid beech** adds natural warmth to the design, while the **semi-circular black faux leather backrest**, framed by a chrome tube support bar with rounded ends, completes the ensemble with refinement. The base, monumental and elegant, consists of a cast aluminium base ribbed in concentric circles, extended by a **ring-shaped footrest resembling a steering wheel, also in aluminium — a detail typically "bistro design" that gives these pieces their character. The wear is light and perfectly consistent with age: a few small scratches on the red faux leather and a beautiful natural patina on the metal elements, which only enhance the authentic character of this set. ✦ **Dimensions**: Total height 100 cm – Seat height 78 cm – Seat diameter 40 cm. ✦ **Set of 4 stools** – Total weight: 25 kg. ✦ **Brand**: Design München (moulded under the base) Ideal for a bar, an open kitchen, or a boldly vintage interior.
