Large collection of 5 modernist glazed Belgian ceramics – Thulin / AIRAIN – Art Deco – 1930s-50s

Beautiful set of five Belgian decorative ceramics with stunning deep black, green, and ivory flamed glazes, in an elegant Art Deco/modernist spirit. These pieces feature organic shapes that are very characteristic of Belgian productions from the interwar period and the mid-20th century, with a strong stylistic proximity to the creations of the Faïencerie de Thulin allowing for attribution. The large jug still retains its original “AIRAIN” label, adding a true collector's cachet to the set. Markings present under the bases: “BELGIUM 16” “BELGIUM 55 C” “MADE IN BELGIUM 499 8” “BELGIUM 2147” “96 MADE IN BELGIUM” Dimensions: Large AIRAIN jug: 23 cm. Hexagonal vase with double handles: 15 cm. Basket vase: 15 cm. Bulbous vase: 14 cm. Small soliflore: 11 cm. Note: There is a visible crack on one handle of the hexagonal double-handled model (see photos) due to a break that has been repaired. Slight signs of age and minor wear consistent with antiquity. The set forms a very harmonious composition, ideal for Art Deco, modernist, wabi-sabi, or collector's interior decoration. Very decorative pieces, difficult to find in a coherent lot with their matching glazes. Ideal for collectors, decorators, or enthusiasts of antique Belgian ceramics.
