Large carafe, vintage bottle made of hand-blown glass.

Large bottle / bulbous carafe in colourless blown glass. Handcrafted by a glass artist, featuring a magnificent frosted/bubbled glass effect that is very dense on the lower half of the body, typical of artisanal productions from the second half of the 20th century (in the style of Biot or La Rochère glassworks). The opening has a thick rolled rim applied hot. Under the base, the raw mark of the pontil can be found (proof of its cane-made production, without industrial mould). Dimensions: Height: 25cm. Maximum diameter: 18cm. A heavy, stable, and very elegant piece. In excellent vintage condition, no chips, no cracks. The glass is clean and well transparent. Perfect as a table carafe or repurposed as a dame-jeanne vase for dried flowers, eucalyptus branches, or simply as a curiosity on a sideboard.
