Art deco chair in green velvet

Pretty chair from the art deco period. Made by a craftsman in the early twentieth century, is stained beech structure, is entirely decorated with original shapes and sculptures. The trapezoidal seat rests on 4 legs, the front two resting on a flattened ball. It is overhung by a magnificent back with an ovoid shape, whose center has been carved in the form of flowers, typical of the art deco style. The seat receives a nice green tweed type fabric, surrounded by nails. The whole is in very good condition, there are traces of life and some xylophagous holes, but it is still perfectly useful in its role. A treatment was applied, with an antique wax to protect it and give shine. This small chair will be perfect as an extra chair, or as a bedroom chair. Circa 1920. Size: Height: 90 cm.
