Rosewood Cabinet by Arne Vodder for Sibast 1960s

Rosewood secretary desk / cabinet designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast in the 1960s. A highly functional design offering generous storage within a relatively compact volume. The drop-front opens to form a spacious work surface and reveals an interior with shelves and two small drawers. Below are several wide drawers fitted with characteristic metal handles, a detail frequently seen in Vodder’s work. Executed in richly figured rosewood and retaining its original Sibast labels. In good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age, including a small veneer repair.
