January 1939 in Berlin ) was a commercial artist and poster artist . He is one of the most important representatives of the German art of advertising . During the First World War he worked for Ateliers Neumann (Berlin) on designs for the automotive and aircraft industries, including for Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Aviatik Actien Gesellschaft.
