Two-tone pitcher in sandstone by louis lourioux (1874-1930). Louis lourioux began his production in foëcy during the art nouveau period with motifs inspired by the animal and plant world, then he turned to an art deco style, more refined and geometric. This pitcher is part of a series that louis lourioux devotes to cucurbits, playing on the effects of colors and materials.
