Morvan sandstone bowl with multicolored flames

Here is a morvan bowl with superb multicolored shades, predominantly blue, green and pink. In perfect condition and signed (morvan), it was made in the tamnay pottery created in 1932 in tamnay-en-bazois by gaston gaubier (1894-1971), a ceramist from a family of potters from puisaye, then managed by the vincent family since 1997, and unfortunately closed in 2016. This cup has magnificent shades and abstract patterns obtained thanks to the mixture of various oxides for an absolutely unique flamed result. A must for lovers of iconic utilitarian and vintage pottery pieces from the 20th century. Dimensions: diameter of 20.5 cm / height of approximately 3.5 cm / weight of approximately 360 grams.
