Walnut rock bed early 20th century

Imposing “rock” bed, inspired by louis XV in solid and veneered walnut, very fashionable at the beginning of the 20th century. It presents all the canons of the genre, with its finely carved decoration of shells, crescents and other leafy and flowery scrolls, including its leafy feet ending in a snail. Of very good quality and in excellent condition considering its age, its period dimensions predispose it to serve as a large bed for a single person or for two skinny people. In this regard, bedding in good condition (mattress + box spring of 130 X 190 cm) will be offered to you if you wish, you will then just have to indicate it to me in advance, to know the additional cost linked to transport. This type of bed is ideal for a makeover, in “shabby chic” white, but also anthracite gray etc. (many photos are available on the internet).
