Floor lamp by Florian Schulz 'Asis', 1970

Florian schulz, floor lamp asis, created in 1975, is no longer in production. Edited by licht und objekt. 190 X 28 cm. 5 metal rods resting in a chromed metal receptacle, with dimmer and foot switch. The dimmer has two positions to switch from a very soft light to a more intense one 20 watt halogen diode lamps. The stems measure between 175 and 185 cm. The whole produces a decorative light, like a giant bouquet of flowers, made of metal rods. Florian Schulz (1946-2019) completed an apprenticeship as a metal sculptor in his parents' workshop. He too initially devoted himself to the construction of custom-made objects for the Stuttgart State Opera and the Breuninger fashion house, among others. Over the years, florian schulz has developed an extensive collection of timeless and functional luminaires that illuminate the living space in the best possible way. He left behind a unique collection that combines the highest level of craftsmanship with timeless design and contemporary technology.
