Terracotta butter maker

Very nice water butter maker, butter preservative, french made. Double walled system of the lid that allows the butter to be stored out of the fridge. The water is poured into the small holes at the top of the lid and its natural aeration keeps a cool atmosphere for the preservation of the butter. Terracota color, it is made of unvarnished terracotta. For a rustic atmosphere all in simplicity. Good vintage condition. Traces of time and use.
