Table lamp in bronze and bamboo Dutch design

Table lamp with bamboo lampshade and bronze base made in the netherlands. The lampshade is shaped out of bamboo into curved shapes from layers of finely sliced and dried bamboo, creating the "shell" shape. Drawing its influence from the shells that can be found in indonesia, this piece illustrates an elegant synthesis between dutch design and indonesian decorative arts. Country: netherlands.
