Swarovski candlestick in cut crystal signed sc swarovski design 1980

This magnificent candlestick is made of cut SWAROVSKI crystal. It is a beautiful collectible crystal item signed by the famous Austrian crystal manufacturer. This three-armed candelabrum is adorned with crystal balls and plates. It can hold three candles. The crystal is cut with facets and reflects light beautifully. It is a vintage creation from the 1980s, signed with the SC logo used between 1976 and 1988. The adventure of the famous brand began with cut crystal in 1895 in Wattens, Austria, in Tyrol: its founder, Daniel Swarovski, son of a glass cutter in Bohemia, revolutionised the cutting technique by inventing a machine that could cut crystal with unmatched precision. Today better known for its jewellery, Swarovski has created art objects, design pieces, and collaborated with major figures in fashion and luxury. In generally good condition, it measures 19 X 9 X 4 cm. I note discreet signs of use and a small chip on one corner. This candlestick is marked with the Swarovski SC logo and signed with the name "Swarovski".
