Set of 7 wicker baker's baskets, 1960s

Beautiful set of seven natural wicker baker's baskets, dating from the 1960s, once used in traditional bakeries for the fermentation and presentation of bread. It includes six long baskets designed for baguettes, as well as a wider model, intended for a large country or bâtard loaf. Each basket is hand-woven from raw honey-toned wicker, and reinforced with an integrated steel frame that ensures excellent stability and durability. They have been fully cleaned, respecting the materials, ready for use or display. The baguette baskets are the longest: approximately 72 cm long, 13 cm wide and 7 cm high. The large bread basket measures approximately 64 cm long, 16 cm wide and 7 cm high. The set is in good condition: the wicker is still very solid, with some irregularities of use (small localized breaks, slight deformations) without impacting the structure or the rendering. Ideal for rustic decor in a kitchen, shop, restaurant, or market stall. A functional and decorative set, imbued with authenticity.
