60s armchair - Scandinavian - fully restored

Grandpa jérôme jérôme inherited this armchair from his grandpa. Dating back to the 60s, he had always known it. Time had passed, time had failed him. The fabric was damaged, the seat had worn out and jérôme preferred to pass on this armchair that he loved rather than archive it in a garage or condemn it to the recycling center. I sanded and solidified the entire wooden structure, which I then varnished to protect it. The old foams have been replaced by new foams from the bultex brand. The structure was covered with strong canvas and the trimmings with wadding, then white canvas and finally fabric from nobilis. This coating in the “aqua” shade is a blue-green water color, changing with the light. It has been tested for high resistance and treated to be anti-stain.
