Crystal lamp base by JOSEPH BLEICHNER Modernist design 1960 signed JB FRANCE

This pretty table lamp is made of crystal from the jb france crystal factory. Joseph bleichner is none other than the main decorator of the saint-louis crystal factory, born in 1880, son of an artisan designer from saint-louis, he created numerous models for saint-louis from 1903 to 1957 such as the famous services tommy and diamond. Medium in size, it is perfect for a bedroom or as an accent lamp in any room in the house: on a windowsill, a coffee table, a dresser, a desk! The intensity of the light will depend on your bulb: the socket is bayonet. The socket is in bakelite, vintage. In molded blown crystal, this lamp base with a modernist design dates from the 1960s. This beautiful object is signed "cristal jb france". The lampshade has served well, its condition is average... You will find very pretty ones that match your interior in decoration stores. In good condition, it measures 24 cm in height (socket included). I note scratches from use. Electrification will need to be reviewed.
