Boarding bedside table attributed to jacques hitier (1917-1999) for tubauto, 1950s. Drawer and shelf in wood and oak veneer. Structure and magazine rack in white lacquered metal. Original patina (in photo). Good condition. During the 1950s this bedside table often occupied dormitories, boarding schools or military barracks. A decorative artist trained at the boulle school, jacques hitier specialized after the second world war in the creation of industrial furniture intended for small communities and homes; he will draw for 15 years for the tubauto company.
