4 bistro chairs japy brothers and buchon flow 20th

Set of 4 chairs curved wooden bistro on the model of the no. 56 created by thonet. These are french, a fragment of the label confirms their origin of japy frères ("cie" until 1921) which had opened in 1910 a unit of production of curved wooden furniture, like its neighbor baumann (which eventually bought it in the 1930s). Some also carry the plaque of the distributor louis buchon in saint-etienne which supplied cafes, restaurants, offices, etc. --- very good condition of the lot in its juice of find with its patina of authentic lived. Original wood background with their art nouveau décor still visible. Nice line, well curved toes - of the cachet. Solid and ready to sit. --- height 86 cm, seat height 46.5, seat 37 X 38 cm.
