Vintage antique 1930s travel steamer trunk

A great 1930s large dark brown hardboard and wood banded travel trunk. Its adorned with solid polished brass fixings, thick leather handles. Beautifully aged and in lovely vintage condition, some markings in line with age but giving a great patina. Working catches. All original parts, including the paper cover of the interior and the interior parcel shelf. The interior still shows the manufacturer: w. Duke & son from northampton. The interior is very clean with minimal wear. This chest is solid and strong. One is available. This vintage piece has lots of character and contains a whole lot of storage space also.
