Aurora Blue 1040 Suspension Lamp - ARTELUCE - 1983

The Aurora 1040 Blue is a pendant light designed by Perry King and Santiago Miranda for Arteluce. This chandelier provides direct and diffused light with three halogen and LED spotlights, from a suspended disc composed of a pair of textured glass plates sandwiching a carbon fiber disc. The domed ceiling cap houses the transformer and holds the three suspension wires, which are height-adjustable. The photos in the listing are of the lamp I have, and the photos of the "installed" lamp are from a website as I no longer have the photos of the lamp in situ in our dining room. The fixture is still in very good condition, with no scratches or scuffs. The chandelier still works.
