Silver-plated serving tray

Large silver-plated tray by the Parisian silversmith Alexandre Gelb, stamped, from the 1950s/60s. Pierced edge with cut-out gallery, gadrooned frieze on the outer rim, interior engraved with a central cartouche. Few scratches or signs of use, no loss of silvering, cleaned for sale; please note, there are 2 splits on the rim at opposite edges, which do not affect its sturdiness. Dimensions in photos.
