Rococo style mirror in pale pink & gold accents

Period: ca. Early – mid-20th century, restyled. The cartouch-shaped mirror with its delicate scrolls is inspired by the rococo louis XV style. The frame is made of wood and plaster. The frame has been repainted in a very pale matte pink color and the details have been accentuated with a golden wax to give it a faux-aged look. The overall effect is shabby-chic. Glass has some age-related oxidation stains. Status: good. The mirror has age spots. This article has been repainted. Dimensions: 40 cm high, 36 cm wide, 2 cm deep, 1.4 kg.
